Hydraulic system radiator

 

The radiator of hydraulic system is an auxiliary device designed to prolong the service life of hydraulic components. The radiator of hydraulic system is made of aluminum alloy material with good seismic strength, light weight and high heat exchange efficiency. Structurally, there are also built-in fins in the radiator to increase the heat dissipation area and speed up the heat conduction. Under the action of the fan, the air is used as the cooling source to take away the heat, so as to obtain the cooling effect of low cost and high efficiency.


 

 

Advantages of hydraulic system radiator

1. No water source, no refrigerant, no scale removal, power saving and environmental protection.

2. Avoid the complex piping of water-cooled radiator, and the fatal damage to the system caused by the mixing of water and oil caused by the rupture of water pipe and steel pipe in the device.

3. Avoid the construction and maintenance of water circulation system, and save the cost of regular cleaning and replacement of water-cooled radiator.

 

Hazards of oil temperature rise

The working process of hydraulic system is often accompanied by the rise of oil temperature. An increase in fluid temperature can cause many hazards:

(1) It will lead to the decrease of oil viscosity and the increase of system leakage, so as to reduce the volumetric efficiency of the system and accelerate the oxidation and deterioration of oil;

(2) The rubber seal is easy to deform, accelerate the aging and failure process, and cause the leakage of the system;  

(3) Make the clearance between moving pairs with different thermal expansion coefficients in hydraulic components smaller or jam, resulting in action failure;

In short, the heating of the system not only causes huge loss of energy, but also promotes the rise of oil temperature, which can cause harm. Therefore, the research on the heat dissipation of hydraulic system has very important practical significance.

 

Installation precautions

1. The radiator shall be installed firmly. The installation position shall avoid vibration and impact, ensure the free and smooth air inlet and exhaust, and prevent the inhalation of air heated by other external elements.

2. When the radiator is used, a pressure limiting bypass must be installed to avoid excessive pressure drop and possible damage caused by excessive pulse pressure during startup.

3. Pay attention to the oil outlet joint of the radiator during loading and unloading. Tools must be used to clamp the oil inlet and outlet of the radiator to avoid distortion and deformation of the radiator.

4. The radiator shall be kept clean and cleaned regularly.
