The Whole Process Of Rice Production

Eat rice every day. Do you know how rice is produced?

The production cycle of rice is about 100-150 days. In this era of agricultural mechanization, harvesters can harvest large quantities of rice, and these rice will be sent to large warehouses for storage at the fastest speed. The ventilation and drying equipment installed in the warehouse can take away the water in the grain and reduce the water content. After the rice is dried, a moisture test will be carried out. If the relevant requirements are met, it can enter the processing link.

The first step is to filter the larger straw through the screening machine, and the grain will be sent to the next station.

The second step is to screen out the sundries of the remaining small straw and small stones through the vibrator, and weed seeds and some chaff are also removed in this link. The first two parts can be summarized as removing sundries.

The third step is to peel off the shell of the grain and use the equipment, the rice huller (hulling: means the tool for removing the rice husk). There are two rubber runners in the rice huller, one at a slow speed. When the grain passes through the middle of the runner, the husk is peeled off due to the action of friction.

The fourth step is to further separate the husk from the rice grain. At this time, the color of the rice grain is brown because there is still a layer of epidermis on its surface. The rice in this state is called brown rice.

Step five, rice milling. There are grinding wheels and wire brushes inside the rice mill, which can remove the epidermis on the surface of brown rice. These epidermis are called rice bran and can be used to feed livestock. After the rice milling process, the rice will show its pure white. After polishing the rice, a shiny surface will be obtained. Due to the continuous impact of rice during processing, some rice grains will be broken or damaged in other forms,

The sixth step is the screening link. The screening will divert the screened incomplete rice grains, which will be used to make wine or other food.

The last step, which is also the most scientific and technological step, is color selection. The rice passes through the color separator. The equipment uses optical detection means to quickly judge and lock the rice grains and impurities with abnormal color. Then it is blown out quickly through high-speed air flow to achieve the purpose of removal. So far, the whole production process of rice has been completed, and the rest is packed and sent to thousands of households.
